Privacy policy

Your saved data

Your deals, addresses, property coordinates, assumptions, scenarios, favorites, archive choices, and notes are saved on your device. Calculations run on your device. The initial App Store release does not enable automatic iCloud sync. In a build with sync enabled, saved deals synchronize through your private iCloud database across your devices. Saved deals are not sent to the developer. Default assumptions remain device preferences unless you deliberately export and restore them in a backup. Your device's backup settings may include local app data in an Apple device backup.

Apple Maps

When you search for an address, what you type is sent to Apple Maps to suggest and find matches. When saved properties appear, their addresses or coordinates may be sent to Apple Maps to find a location or load Look Around imagery. Apple handles these requests under Apple Maps & Privacy. Cornerlot does not request your device's current location. Property coordinates are saved with the deal; imagery is kept only in memory and is not saved in the deals database or a backup.

Sharing a Deal Memo

A Deal Memo PDF is made on your device when you tap Share. You choose its recipient or destination. The app or service you choose handles the shared file under its own privacy practices.

Backups

A backup contains all saved deals, addresses, property coordinates, assumptions, scenarios, favorites, archive choices, notes, and default assumptions. It is created when you choose Export backup and saved where you choose. Backup files are not password-protected by Cornerlot; keep them private. A storage provider you choose, such as iCloud Drive, handles that file under its own privacy practices. Import adds new deals and skips deals already on your device; restoring default assumptions is optional.

Area Lens

Area Lens uses public HUD and Census data bundled with the app. Your property address, ZIP code, rent, and notes are not sent to those data providers. Source links open their public websites when you choose them.

Deleting your data

Saved deals stay in the app until you delete them. Swipe left on a deal to delete it. With iCloud sync enabled, deletion synchronizes to your other devices when a connection is available. Archiving keeps the deal. Deleting the app removes its local data but does not delete exported files, device backups, or data kept in iCloud. Manage those copies through their storage provider or Apple settings.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive the message, your email address, and any attachments you choose to send so we can respond. Cornerlot does not automatically attach or upload your saved deals. Share only the information needed for your request.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date.
